In the midst of the Covid pandemic, the Merck Group used the digital workplace system to enable a safe "back to office" in the short term and digitally set up workplace management with a view to a changing working world that takes hybrid working methods into account. This idea was expanded in terms of sustainable energy management. With this in mind, the Workplace Systems was introduced for a period of four months for 15 buildings in order to test an energy management system designed to be sustainable with the help of the tool, in which all employees make a contribution and the entire company benefits.
