The following is a compilation of all useful information that visiting professionals and exhibitors from all industries should consider when making their travel plans and arrangements: We have covered every option from flights, train connections and road traffic to public transport infrastructure.

By public transportation

Quick and environmentally friendly: BAU visitors take the U2 subway line and step out at either the station “Messestadt West” or at the station “Messestadt Ost”. Both give direct access to the fairgrounds of Messe München.

Please note that your BAU ticket does not entitle you to use any public transport operated by the MVG (Munich Transport Society) or the MVV (Munich Transport and Tariff Association) free of charge.

Our tip: Particularly on the days with the most visitors (Wednesday, April 19 and Thursday, April 20), it is generally quicker to travel by public transport.

Our recommendation: Download the free MVG app to your smartphone in advance for Munich travel information. This way you will not only receive information about connections and up-to-date notifications about service—you can also buy tickets for the subway, suburban train (S-Bahn), tram and bus with ease.
