Biography

Josef Faßbender is a publicly appointed and sworn expert for the metalworking trade. As such, he knows countless cases of incorrectly installed functional doors, such as fire protection closures. As a consultant, he is involved in large construction projects to accompany the planning of doors in advance and to ensure their compliant execution. As co-founder and managing director of the German Professional Academy for Door Technology (DFATT), he organises further training for specialists on all aspects of the door as a building element, and is also active as a speaker here.
