Biography

Dr. Carl Basler studied physics at the University of Freiburg and received his doctorate in 2014 on the subject of atomic spectroscopy. Since 2015, he has been employed at Fraunhofer IPM as a research associate in production control. He leads projects on laser-induced plasma spectroscopy, e.g. for coating control, electrode foil production, battery recycling and raw material extraction.
