Biography

Prof. Gunnar Grün is spokesperson for the Fraunhofer Building Innovation Alliance and has been Deputy Director of the Fraunhofer Institute for Building Physics IBP since 2016. Having studied civil engineering at the University of Stuttgart, he completed his doctorate there in 2008 with a dissertation on "Model of a comfort index for assessing the indoor climate based on the example of a passenger aircraft cabin". Today, he also teaches as professor of building physics at the Institute for Acoustics and Building Physics IABP at the University of Stuttgart and is a member of DIN standardisation committees and VDI guideline committees.
