Biography

M. Eng. Matthias Winkler is a researcher and project manager at Fraunhofer IBP. He’s developing and applying simulation models on different scales with the aim to assess the effects of climate change on the built environment: From component and building performance up to the urban microclimate. Especially the transfer from science towards practical applications is a central part of his work.
