Biography

Philipp Auer (*1967, Stuttgart) is one of the five managing partners of Auer Weber. Together with his brother Moritz Auer and Stephan Suxdorf, he manages the Munich branch of Auer Weber. Philipp Auer first studied at the University of Stuttgart and then at the Technical University of Darmstadt until he graduated in 1995. After completing his studies, he worked from 1995-97 at David Chipperfield in London, then at the Auer Weber office in Munich and has been an associate since 2001 and managing director since 2009. Philipp Auer has been a member of the Association of German Architects BDA since 2014 and has held teaching positions at the Münster University of Applied Sciences and at the Technical University of Munich since 2017. For Philipp Auer and his team, the common guiding principle of all projects is to develop the architectural design from the respective task and the conditions of the location in a distinctive, coherent and comprehensible way. © Stefan Pielow
