Biography

Dr. Severin Seifert studied mineralogy at the TU Freiberg and then worked for a short time in the ceramics industry. Afterwards, he received his PhD in cement mineralogy at the University Erlangen-Nuremberg. After gaining further experience in materials development in the industry, he moved to the Fraunhofer Institute for Building Physics IBP, where he is head of the group “Building Materials Technology”.
