Lecture Description

The colonisation of other planets could soon become reality. The question of what space architecture should be like in the future is therefore already being asked. Sebastian Aristoteles reports on two projects that test living in space:

1. LUNARK simulates a lunar home. It was built and tested in the Arctic in 2020. The result of a 100-day expedition was that strong cognitive performance and healthy well-being were maintained throughout the mission.

2. The Rosenberg Space Habitat is the world's tallest polymer structure from the 3D printer. Constructed in Switzerland in 2022, it will be used to test living and working in minimal space, as well as for technology and materials research.
