Biography
Daniel Mondino studied architecture at ETH Zurich and has been working as a freelance architect since 1996. In 2006 he was appointed to the BDA. He is managing partner in the architecture and general planning office CORE Digital Engineering GmbH in Hamburg, which specializes in the processing of building construction projects based on model-based processes and is a consortium partner of BIM Germany. Prof. Mondino is a member of the Digitalization Steering Group of the Federal Chamber of Architects and is active in various national and international working groups, expert groups and standardization committees on the subject of BIM. In 2015, Mr. Mondino was a member of the select group of authors for the creation of the BMVI's "Roadmap for Digital Planning and Building". Since 2018, Mr. Mondino has been a professor for "Digital Integrated Process Management - Planning (Building Information Modeling)" at HafenCity University Hamburg, where he also heads the BIMLab.
