Biography

Sander Apperlo (1984, Netherlands) is a partner at Powerhouse Company, managing the German office since its opening in 2018. He received his Bachelor of Engineering in 2007 at Hogeschool Windesheim, and won the award (together with Gerben Knol) for the best graduation project of that year. He received his Master in Architecture in 2011 at TU Delft. Between 2005 and 2011, and while studying, he worked for several (inter)national architecture offices, for instance, Rietveld Architects New York (USA) and Powerhouse Company (NL). In 2016, Sander became an Associate and, in 2018, grew into a Partner position while starting up the German office. Sander plays a significant part in the technical engineering of the innovative projects of Powerhouse Company. He is a thoughtful technical designer and knows how to construct - making him a vital member of the execution of high-end projects.
