Innovation Award Architecture + Building
For the 16th time the architectural journal AIT and AIT-Dialog in cooperation with Messe München GmbH, initiated the Innovation Award Architecture+ Building during the BAU. The award is intended for manufacturers of innovative products and materials for the complete contract, industrial building segment and for residential construction, as well as for architects, interior designers and designers who work in these areas and have developed associated products. Participation is open to all BAU 2025 exhibitors.

Competition “Auf IT gebaut - Bauberufe mit Zukunft”: These are the winners 2025
This prize, which is important for young talents in the construction industry, is awarded in the competition areas of civil engineering, construction management, architecture, and crafts and technology, and recognizes special IT solutions for the construction industry.
The award ceremony will be opened with a keynote speech by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection (requested) as part of BAU 2025 on January 14, 2025 from 10:00 a.m.
The focus will be on the award-winning talents of the construction industry. Look forward to it!

Awarding of the Balthasar-Neumann-Prize 2025
The Balthasar Neumann Prize is an architecture prize that has been offered since 1994 and is announced every two years. It is one of the most important and prestigious architectural awards in Europe. The prize derives its outstanding status from its objective: realized construction projects that have special features of integral planning and exemplary building culture and technical qualities, taking sustainability aspects into account, are honored.

BAKA Award - Award for Product Innovation 2025
Existing buildings with their ecological credit, the resources they contain, must continue to be used sustainably. Without innovation for and with existing buildings, the sustainable reuse and further use of all installed resources cannot automatically be ecologically feasible.
Clever innovations for old buildings and also for new buildings are sought for this award. Everyone involved in the construction is waiting for it. Sustainability & ecology above all resilience, efficiency and sufficiency are the indicators of the competition.
