Lecture description
From a former garden colony to an urban garden city 2.0: Munich’s Eggarten is giving rise to a high-density, climate-adapted, and affordable model district with nearly 50% subsidized housing. Why the high urban density is an advantage, and why it was important for cooperatives, as well as private owners, to be involved in the planning process from the very beginning.
