As part of BAU 2023, the German Federal Ministry of Housing, Urban Development and Construction invites you to a two-day congress from April 17 to 18, 2023. Topics are the building turnaround, new construction funding and the Quality Seal Sustainable Building (QNG). The congress will be opened on Monday by the Federal Minister of Construction, Klara Geywitz.
In addition, other specialist events will be held, such as the "Planning, Building and Operating" event on Tuesday, April 18, 2023, which will focus on the topic of digitalization. In the conference "Urban Mining—from research to practical implementation" on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, experts will discuss how to make the most of recycling opportunities. Both events are organized by RG-Bau at the RKW Competence Center.

BMWSB invites from april 17th to 18th, 2023 to the congress at BAU 2023 in Munich
On the occasion of BAU 2023 in Munich, the Federal Ministry of Housing, Urban Development and Building (BMWSB) is organizing a congress on April 17th and 18th, 2023. Together with experts from the construction and building materials industry, building research, real estate industry and building policy, current trends, challenges and solutions are discussed there. Under the motto "Building 2023—what needs to be done now!", the congress is dedicated to the most important current topics of the entire value chain. The congress will start with a panel discussion with Federal Building Minister Klara Geywitz on the topic: New planning, new building—challenges of the construction turnaround. Other main topics are climate-friendly and resource-saving construction, the productivity potential of the construction industry and resource bottlenecks in construction with their causes, consequences and possible solutions. On the second day of the congress, the focus will be on current topics relating to the federal government's sustainability strategy and the BMWSB's new construction subsidy.
