The special areas of BAU offer space for the topics start-ups and Innovation Hub.
Area for start-ups
BAU’s area for start-ups is the perfect stage for young companies from the building sector! In a central area of around 200 square meters, interested start-ups will find attractively designed exhibition stands to present themselves as an active market participant to an international audience and to establish important business contacts.
Who is the start-up area for?
Are you an innovative start-up?
Your business field is the growing market of the construction industry? Then you've come to the right place.
BAU is looking for start-ups
- that have existed for less than 10 years
- that have successfully passed the seed and start-up phase
- that can show products and services with a high innovative character. The minimum requirement is an available prototype or an already commercialized product or service.

Start-up participation
- Bookable stand space from 6 to 20 m2 without stand construction
- 2 exhibitor passes
- Basic entry in the BAU 2025 trade fair directories
- Overall coordination of the trade fair stand and on-site support
- Media attention in marketing, press and social media campaigns
- Participation in the start-up programme free of charge (matchmaking, pitch, guided tours)

At the Founders Fight Night, we offer start-ups the big stage. In the boxing ring, you will have the opportunity to face the expert audience and the expert jury. More information will follow here in the fall.
Innovation Hub: science, materials, visions
The focus in the Innovation Hub is in particular on the topics of resources and recycling, urban mining, modular construction, innovative construction processes. Present trend-setting materials and building productsfor climate-friendly and resource-saving construction. Show what potential is opened up by innovative building processes. Discuss current research results and innovations. Top-class keynote speeches enrich the unique industry exchange.
