The Stages at BAU 2027
At the various stages of BAU, experts will present and discuss forward-looking ideas and projects in a practical context.
Main Stage
Look forward to hearing from renowned architects and leading experts from the construction industry. Together with our program partners Bauverlag, DETAIL, Callwey, and AIT Dialog, we have put together an exciting and inspiring program for you.
What solutions do modular and serial construction offer for affordable housing? How does circular construction change the design process? How can cities, neighborhoods, and buildings become climate-resilient? How are AI, BIM, and digital twins driving productivity, sustainability, and efficiency?
The presentations on stage will be simultaneously translated into English and German.
BLACK BOX Stage
How will we live, build, and get around in the future? The entire BLACK BOX STAGE program revolves around these questions. Curated in line with BAU’s key themes and in collaboration with DIGITAL-WERK, the program features content that offers real added value: inspiring keynotes, case studies featuring specific projects, hands-on live demos, and new interactive formats where you can have your say. You’ll also meet BAU insiders here in exciting panels and discussions.
The forum sessions will be held in German or English.
Future Lab Stage
Experience innovative solutions from startups during panel discussions on the Future Lab Stage, and don’t miss the program highlight—Founders Fight Night—on Tuesday at BAU.
You can actively participate in these exciting pitch battles and cast your vote. The program partner is The Builders Tech Club
Neo Stage
High-caliber keynote presentations and discussions on the latest research findings and forward-looking innovations await you at the Neo Stage.
Our program partners are: the Bavarian Chamber of Architects, the Federal Ministry of Housing, Urban Development, and Construction, the Association of German Architects, Bauverlag, the RKW Competence Center, as well as representatives from universities and research institutions.
Attend the keynote presentations organized by World-Architects, featuring renowned architects and engineers, and let these experts guide you on a curated tour of selected exhibitors.

Long-standing partners of BAU will present solutions on various key topics on their stages.
DGNB Forum on Sustainable Construction
DGNB offers a comprehensive program of hands-on activities and presentations—ranging from knowledge modules and concise pitch presentations to panel discussions, project presentations, and interactive networking events.
Drawing on its broad network of experts, the DGNB is specifically dedicated to knowledge transfer—in a calm, practical, and holistic manner.
The sessions will be conducted in German.
